Changes also to the AS1926-3 2010 require more accurate detail of pool fencing to be provided to your Building Surveyor. Currently our drawings provide for a shaded area which designates the construction area security requirements, and this is assumed to be the pool fence area. More detailed fencing information is now required; actual location of the fence, type of fence, position of boundary fence and pool barrier intersection (if applicable), evidence of Non Climbable Zones as applicable, and location of any gates. If you provide this information to us we will include this extra information onto the existing site plan we create as an additional service – there will not be any extra fee for this aspect of the certified site plan.
